Daniel H. Mercure
Owner
I am the 4th generation Mercure in the family insurance agency. I started working in the agency at the age of 17. I obtained my agent licenses in 1964. I graduated from the University of Toledo in 1966.

I have been active in the insurance industry and community. I have attended numerous insurance schools and classes over the years. I have been active in the Agents Association on a local level and was a member of the Board of Directors for the state association.
I served and helped the citizens of the Rockwood area in numerous ways. I was a member of the fire department for 40 years and served as chief 16. I served on many commissions in the City of Rockwood. I am an active member of St Mary’s Church where I have served on many parish and school committees and boards.
I have been married to my wife Lorraine for over 50 years. We have four children and 15 grandchildren. We enjoy going to the events of the grandchildren.

I have learned from my father the importance of community and industry involvement.
I’ve been involved with Rotary, Jaycees and the Rockwood Fire Department. I am the Chief of the department. I teach CPR and work with the local schools in fire prevention. I am a member of the Board of Directors the MI Future Foundation, and I am a past President of the Gibraltar and Rockwood Rotary clubs.
Golf is a passion of mine. I coached high school golf for over 20 years and had the privilege to work with many outstanding student at St Mary Catholic Central and Riverview High School. I was involved with the Big I National Championship for 20 years. I had the pleasure of meeting many you people from around the country through my involvement in running, local, the Michigan state tournament and national committee. Golf is a great lifelong sport that promotes exercise, sportsmanship and is a nice way to meet many different people.
My wife and I have 7 kids. We enjoy traveling and see traveling and visiting the kids who are spread out around the country.

During that time she has seen many changes in the agency and the insurance industry as a whole. The one thing that hasn’t changed is her commitment to providing superior service to her clients. Working to find them the best insurance value for the least amount of money keeps her busy!
In her spare time, Suzanne loves to spend time with her St. Bernard, Ruby. She enjoys riding her Harley, working in her garden, flying drones and crafting.

My name is Molly McCracken. I am a lifelong Gibraltar resident and I love the Downriver Area. I have my Associates Degree in Business Management from Baker College.

I started my insurance career in 2015 working for AAA. I have worked for companies including State Farm, AllState, and Look Insurance. I have my insurance producer’s license in Property and Casualty, Life, and Accident and Health.
In March of 2020, I had an opportunity to work for Mercure Agency and accepted the position. I love that I can provide service to people who live in my area. The belief of treating people like you want to be treated is very important to me.
What I love about working for Mercure Agency is that I have an opportunity to grow my knowledge and finding different avenues in helping our clients.

My name is Lindsay Richardson. I have lived in Flat Rock my entire life and I love the local area. I graduated from Madonna University in 2008. After graduation I worked as a childcare center director in Livonia and Dearborn.

In the September 2019, the opportunity to be closer to home brought me to Mercure Agency. The Mercure Agency always had a special place in my heart because my grandfather was the “Bob the Barber” next door. I received my Resident Producer’s License in October 2019 and became a Notary in November of 2019.
The best part of my job is I get to help so many people in the local area with their insurance needs. I love the “family” feeling that our office has. My goal is to provide individual, professional service to each of my clients.

Katherine Ryon

Katherine Ryon joined the Mercure Agency staff in June of 2017. She obtained her Resident Producer License in September 2017, and then completed her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation by September 2019.

When Katherine came to Mercure Agency, her focus was in personal lines of insurance. At the end of 2018, when she came back from maternity leave, she started learning commercial lines. Now, each day is spent dividing up the workload between both worlds! She finds it fun and is constantly learning something new, or different ways to be quick, accurate and efficient. She enjoys servicing the accounts of each one of her clients – and strives to make sure that they are happy with their experience. Most importantly, Katherine takes her job very seriously and does her best to make sure that any potential known exposure is covered.
